The world is changing too fast to rely only on yesterday’s statistics when planning education, careers, and workforce strategies. While education systems prepare graduates, labour markets are already demanding new and evolving skills. Traditional approaches to monitoring skills needs often cannot capture these changes quickly enough.

That is why TREXIMA Bratislava is developing SkillSight, an innovative AI-powered platform designed to monitor and analyse emerging skills and labour market trends in real time.

SkillSight continuously collects and analyses online job market data from Slovakia and key European markets, including Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Using artificial intelligence and machine learning, the platform identifies changing skill requirements from unstructured job advertisement data and maps them according to international standards such as ESCO, ISCO-08, and NACE.

The platform will provide valuable insights for:

• Educational institutions, helping them adapt study programmes and courses to current labour market needs.
• Policymakers and public employment services, supporting evidence-based decisions on skills development and reskilling.
• Individuals and students, helping them identify skills that will improve their future employability.
• Employers, supporting strategic workforce planning and understanding emerging trends in their industries.

Beyond monitoring current needs, SkillSight will serve as an early-warning system, detecting emerging skills trends in international markets and helping organisations prepare for future changes.

The development of the SkillSight analytical platform is underway, with the first public prototypes and interactive dashboards planned for 2026.
