Personal Data Protection Policy
in accordance with the provisions of Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection and on amendments to certain acts, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Act No. 18/2018 Coll.”), and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR Regulation”).

A designated Data Protection Officer of the Controller is available to data subjects regarding matters related to personal data protection:
2. Purpose of Personal Data Processing
Personal data are processed for the purpose of:

registration of participants for the Age Management SALON 2026 event, which includes the final conference of the international IntegrAGE project
-
organizational arrangements of the event
-
communication with participants before and during the event
-
administration of conference participation
3. Scope of Processed Personal Data
As part of the event registration, we process the following data:

title, first name, and last name
-
email address
-
phone number
-
organization
These data are obtained voluntarily from the data subject by completing the registration form. The Controller assumes that all personal data provided by the data subject are complete and accurate.
4. Legal Basis for Personal Data Processing
The legal basis is defined in Act No. 18/2018 Coll. and the GDPR Regulation. Personal data may only be processed lawfully and in a manner that does not violate the fundamental rights of the data subject, provided that the data subject has given consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes.
5. Retention Period of Personal Data
Personal data will be retained for the duration of the purpose, but no longer than one year from the date of registration for the event.
After this period, personal data will be securely deleted. In justified cases, the data subject may contact the Controller’s Data Protection Officer to request deletion of their personal data.
6. Recipients of Personal Data
For the purpose of organizing the event, personal data are accessible only to natural persons – employees of the Controller and the co-organizer of the event – the Slovak Association of Age Management, civic association, who are involved in the organization of the conference.
Personal data are not provided to third parties nor transferred to a third country or international organization.
7. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place in the processing of personal data.
8. Photographic and Audiovisual Documentation
Photographic, audio, or audiovisual documentation, including image and sound recordings of the event, may be created.
Participants may be captured in photographs or video recordings, which may be used for:

documentation purposes of the Controller as the organizer
-
informing about the event
-
promotional purposes of the Controller, the co-organizer (Slovak Association of Age Management), and the IntegrAGE project
Such documentation may be published, for example, on the Controller’s website, on social media accounts of the Controller, or in other communication and promotional materials related to the event or the IntegrAGE project under which the conference is held.
9. Rights of Data Subjects
In relation to the processing of personal data, the data subject has in particular the following rights:

right to restriction of processing

right to object to the processing of personal data
